Cher, 71, Turns Back Time in Black Leotard at Billboard Music Awards

Cher continues to prove age is just a number.
Cher proved age is just a number at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night.

The 71-year-old singer, who took home the Icon Award, rocked a giant wig and black sequined leotard as she performed hits including "Believe" and "If I Could Turn Back Time."
As her son Chaz Bono watched proudly from the audience, the singer was presented with the award from Gwen Stefani who called her "the definition of an icon."
“I've been doing it for 53 years. That is not an applause thing, I'm 71 yesterday. And I can do a five-minute plank, okay? Just saying,” she said as she took the award.

"I think luck has so much to do with my success," she added. "I think it was mostly luck and a little bit of something thrown in."
