87-Year-Old Fan Who Was Visited by George Clooney Congratulates Him on Newborn Twins
"I hope soon you'll be able to bring them in so that we can see them," said Pat Adams, 87, who met George Clooney earlier this year.
An 87-year-old senior in England has taken particular interest to George and Amal Clooney’s twins, Ella and Alexander.
Retiree Pat Adams, who was paid a special visit by Clooney himself earlier this year, recorded a heartfelt message to the Clooneys, congratulating the couple on their new additions.
“Hello George, we’ve just heard the good news,” Adams said in a video message recorded by staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Sonning in Berkshire. “Congratulations on the birth of your twins, one of each. And I hope soon you’ll be able to bring them in so that we can see them.”
Adams met the Hollywood actor, who has a home nearby, in March, after months and months of asking the staff if they could have him visit.
Staff at the senior’s home then reached out to Clooney’s public relations representative ahead of Adam’s 87th birthday, and sure enough, he showed up at the home with a bouquet of flowers and a card addressed to Adams a few months later.
“He greeted me, he called me, he put his arm around me and I thought, ‘Oh, this is all right,'” she told InsideEdition.com earlier this year. “I couldn’t believe I just shook hands with George Clooney. He’s lovely.”
She added, “He can call anytime, I don’t mind. He’s gorgeous.”
