Police are searching for a would-be robber who met his match when he tried to hold up a Texas store clerk.
The suspect had his face covered and was brandishing a blade after entering a Superette Store in Santa Gertrudis at about 8 p.m. Saturday, surveillance footage released by cops showed.
The clerk can be seen pointing to the door and ordering the suspect out, but the knife-swinging man continues closer, video showed.
But the suspect made a quick about-face when the clerk reached underneath the counter and came back with a large pipe that he used to chase the crook away.
The pair struggled near the door and appeared to fight over the pipe before the suspect ultimately fled with both weapons, video showed.
The suspect ran southbound, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident, including the identity of the suspect, is asked to contact the Kingsville Crime Stoppers at 361-592-4636.
