Are Rihanna's Plus-Size Bra Designs Less Sexy Than Smaller Sizes?

Rihanna's new lingerie line may be out just in time for Valentine's Day, but women are worried the plus-size bras and panties won't make them look as sexy for the holiday.

Rihanna's new lingerie line is out just in time for Valentine's Day – but not everyone is feeling the love.

The line, Savage X Fenty, was designed to be inclusive for a range of sizes, but some women are complaining the plus-size items aren't as sexy as the smaller sizes.

The plus-size sizes for one bra design have more coverage and thicker straps compared to the design for sizes S to XL, fashion blogger Alysse Dalessandro pointed out on Twitter.

"I understand construction cannot always be the same for plus size (especially in lingerie) but I know you can do strappy bralettes in plus so why do brands do this?" she wrote.

Another Twitter user chimed in, "I appreciate the extended sizes but these are two veryyyy different types of sexy being sold."

Others defended the designs. One wrote, "You got more mass hence more material....? that cutout isn't gonna hold you up!"

Inside Edition asked models to try on the designs to see how different they looked. The plus-size model said the thicker straps provided more support. Both agreed, no matter the size, they looked and felt great.

Inside Edition has reached out to Savage X Fenty for comment.

Dalessandro said the company contacted her after she shared her concerns online.

"For the record Savage X Fenty messaged me and thanked me for my feedback," she tweeted.
