A burglary suspect allegedly trying to evade police ran right into them — and hopped into their car.
According to WABC, cops were called to a burglary in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, around 10 p.m. Thursday night. That’s when cops say homeowners found 28-year-old Nicholas Maziot inside, on the second floor.
Maziot allegedly went out the window and jumped off of the roof. He then allegedly tried to get away by calling a Lyft.
Mistaking an unmarked cop car for the one he had called, Maziot allegedly wound up turning himself in.
Maziot was arrested and faces with several charges, including burglary and attempted theft. He has not yet entered a plea.
