Did Taylor Swift Throw Shade at Scooter Braun During Concert?
The spat erupted when Braun purchased the record label that owns Swift's early hits.
Did Taylor Swift throw shade at her concert Wednesday night in New York City?
That's what many are saying after the singer said, “Just think while you were getting down and out about the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world, you could have been getting down to this sick beat.”
They're lyrics from her hit song "Shake It Off," but it's the way she emphasized "liars and dirty, dirty cheats" that has many wondering if she is referring to music manager Scooter Braun.
The public feud between Swift and Braun, who manages Justin Bieber, started last week when Braun purchased Big Machine Records, Swift’s old label that owns all of her early hits.
Swift wrote a scathing blog post when the news was announced, calling the sale her "worst case scenario.”
“All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years," she wrote.
Swift headlined the Prime Day Concert for Amazon in New York Wednesday and it was her first public appearance since the drama.
