The mesmerizing video shows Kapoun deftly gliding beneath the ice covering Lake Milada and following a yellow string to a second hole before pulling himself out.
Freediving is a type of underwater swimming that relies on holding the breath without using an apparatus to assist.
Kapoun posed for a photo in the frozen lake to commemorate the swim as well.
