Don Cheadle Takes Swipe at President Trump on 'SNL'

Tongues started wagging because of what the actor wore.
Don Cheadle is shaking up the internet after he hosted last night’s episode of "Saturday Night Live."
Tongues started wagging because of what the actor wore.
During the beginning of the show, Cheadle introduced musical guest Gary Clark Jr. and donned a shirt with the slogan, “Protect Trans Kids.”
Many praised the actor for taking a stand.
The Human Rights Campaign tweeted, “Thank you Don Cheadle for using your visibility to stand up for trans youth and being an ally. #ProtectTransKids #SNL.”
“Don Cheadle is doing things right,” wrote one user. “Don Cheadle T-shirt game strong,” wrote another.
At the end of the show, the actor wore a Soviet Union hockey jersey with “Trump” and “45” printed on the back.
Cheadle has long expressed his dislike for President Trump, often slamming him on Twitter. Although he did not address Cheadle directly, the president noticed, summing up his feelings in a Sunday morning tweet.
“Nothing funny about tired 'Saturday Night Live' on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!”
