The 3-year-old accidentally fell on Friday night and firefighters quickly began working to rescue him.
Authorities in China rescued a toddler who fell into a 13-foot abandoned well.
The 3-year-old accidentally fell in on Friday night and firefighters quickly began working to rescue him.
The firefighters used mobile equipment to provide oxygen to the well and ensure the child could breathe while they worked to get to him.
Firefighters attached a rope to the boy’s wrists to pull him out, but that didn’t work because he was stuck in such a tight space.
Workers had to excavate the tunnel to remove him. The boy was partially unconscious throughout the whole ordeal, but medics were on scene to help once he was brought back to the top.
The little boy is expected to make a full recovery.
