First Gerber Baby With Down Syndrome Celebrates 2nd Birthday

Lucas celebrated by exploring Gerber's farms in Michigan.
Happy birthday, Lucas!
The first Gerber baby with Down syndrome celebrated his second birthday over the weekend.
“Lucas’ second birthday party is a day we’ll cherish forever,” his parents, Cortney and Jason Warren said in a statement.
Lucas and his family, originally from Georgia, were treated to a trip to Gerber’s farms in Michigan, where he was thrown a farm-themed birthday bash.
“We had so much fun meeting the real-life farmers at Gerber and seeing how all of Lucas’ favorite foods are grown,” they said.
After enjoying some cake with friends, Lucas even had the chance to explore the farm.
“They even dedicated one of their pea fields in Lucas’ honor,” his parents said.
