Woman Allegedly Attacks Boyfriend With Samurai Sword

She was charged with assault.

A Connecticut woman has been arrested after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend with a samurai sword.

Juanita Bentley, 51, allegedly got into a heated argument with her boyfriend Friday before asking him to leave, police said.

But her boyfriend told police when he didn’t leave fast enough, and Bentley grabbed the “decorative” sword from a wall in the apartment and cut his back and arms, according to a police report. 

He then ran from the apartment, police said.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said in the report.

Police arrived at the scene and after an investigation said that Bentley tried to clean the crime scene, but cops said "items of evidentiary value were recovered."

Bentley is charged with first-degree assault and reckless endangerment, according to reports.
