Idaho Mom Shares DIY Hacks for Decorating Home on a Budget
From making headboards to revamping old furniture, the mom does it all.
An Idaho mother of six children has become a social media star for her DIY skills.
Kelli Bateman, 34, has gained a huge Instagram following by sharing her tips on building a home on a budget. From making headboards to revamping old furniture, the mom does it all.
“It doesn’t have to be hard and difficult to make a house you’re proud of,” Bateman told InsideEdition.com.
In her laundry room, she made curtains from bed sheets she bought for $5. The wallpaper in her daughter’s room also came from a showroom floor.
As spring approaches, the mom even made a spring wreath using a hula-hoop and flowers she bought from the dollar store.
“If you were to buy a wreath this size at the store, you'd probably easy spend 100 bucks,” Bateman said.
Now, she hopes to continue showing others how they can save money too.
