Jennifer Garner Comes to Ben Affleck's Rescue After His Reported Relapse
The actor's estranged wife is helping him get back on the wagon.
Jennifer Garner came to the rescue to her former husband, Ben Affleck, at his home and staged an intervention after her ex apparently fell off the wagon.
Garner confronted photographers and asked for “space” as she went to help the “Armageddon” star. Affleck looked disheveled and upset in the back seat of her car Wednesday.
His reported relapse came amid reports he's dating 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton and after he was spotted receiving what looked like a delivery of beer and whisky at his home.
The intervention happened at Affleck’s home in the upscale Los Angeles enclave of Pacific Palisades. Garner appeared visibly shaken when she arrived and stayed for two hours. Then, she whisked her estranged husband off to rehab.
While Garner was taking care of Affleck, his alleged new girlfriend was sunning herself at a nearby beach.
The Oscar winner was taken to the Canyon Treatment Center in Malibu. Its website boasts “cutting-edge care [and] a supreme healing environment" with lush grounds and a beautiful pool.
It is Affleck’s third time in rehab.
