Jerry Maren's funeral was held over the weekend.
Jerry Maren, the last living Munchkin featured in the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz," has died. He was 98.
Maren died more than a week ago, and a funeral was held this past weekend, TMZ reported.
Maren reportedly suffered from dementia when he died at a nursing home in San Diego.
Despite playing other roles during his time in Hollywood, his place in the Lollipop Guild, which welcomed Dorothy to Oz, remains his most famous.
His 1939 role was so beloved that Maren's career was immortalized with a hand print and signature ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in 2013.
"It means everything to me," he said of the honor. "Especially with my friends nearby."
