Lori Loughlin Smiles as She Heads Into Court for Arraignment in College Admissions Scandal
Felicity Huffman was also present at the Boston federal court.
Lori Loughlin grinned and greeted her fans as she arrived at Boston federal court Wednesday hand in hand with her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli.
Felicity Huffman arrived earlier without her husband William H. Macy. Instead she was accompanied by her brother.
The Hollywood stars were summoned to Boston for a mass arraignment of wealthy parents who are charged with cheating to help get their kids into elite colleges. Many of them are reportedly frantically trying to work out a plea deal with prosecutors in an effort to stay out of jail.
College students hoping to catch a glimpse of Loughlin held up signs that read, “Lori, Please Pay My Tuition — After You Get Out of Prison of Course!”
“We love her so much,” one student told Inside Edition.
Loughlin flew into Boston on a private jet and took the time to sign autographs at the airport, all the while smiling and chatting, putting on a brave face.
It will be up to the judge presiding over the case to decide if any of the defendants will do jail time if they are convicted.
