Marc Jacobs Proposes to Boyfriend With Flash Mob Inside a Chipotle

The couple has dated for two years.

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs found a very unique and interesting way to propose to his boyfriend Wednesday night.

Jacobs, 54, popped the question inside the New York City Mexican restaurant with the help of a flash mob.

He distracted his boyfriend of two years, model Charly Defrancesco, with the flash mob who came into the fast food eatery and danced to Prince’s 1986 classic, "Kiss."

As Defranscesco pulled out his phone to record the dancing, Jacobs got down on one knee and popped the question.

Defranscesco happily said yes to the influential designer.

“And this happened…” Jacobs wrote on Instagram, where he posted video of the proposal. "Charly Defrancesco will you marry me? #flashmobatchipotle #moves."

Defranscesco also posted about the proposal, writing, "GET READY FOR THE ALL TIME GAG!!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen."

Defranscesco was born in Switzerland and is also an actor and candle maker.

Jacobs has famously designed clothing for the likes of Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, and was the former creative director for Louis Vuitton.

A wedding date has not yet been announced.
