10 Greater Bilbies Freed in Protected Area to Repopulate Endangered Species

Conservationists in Australia are going to great lengths to help Greater Bilbies. Ten of the endangered creatures were flown from Taronga Western Plains Zoo into a protected enclosure in Sturt National Park in New South Wales. These rare marsupials will have almost 5,000 acres to themselves, free of feral animals, so they can create a new home in the desert. It's one of the largest areas of its kind. Bilbies are also known as rabbit-bandicoots. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
