$1,000 Reward Offered for Rescue Dog Stolen From Fundraiser: North Carolina Animal Shelter Says

A rescue dog was stolen from an animal shelter’s biggest fundraising night of the year, according to a board member of the shelter. Ten rescue dogs were brought to the event that was raising money for the Pawfect Match Rescue and Rehabilitation in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Ms. Persy, a Pit Bull mix was one of them. The shelter says surveillance video shows a woman pick up Ms. Persy and walk out with the dog and into a car.  A $1,000 reward is being offered for Ms. Persey’s safe return.
