101-Year-Old Former Nazi Guard Gets 5 Years in Prison

A 101-year-old man was sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty for crimes committed as an SS Guard at a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. Due to German privacy laws, he’s only being identified as Josef S. Prosecutors say he assisted in more than 3,500 murders at Sachsenhausen between 1942 and 1945 when he worked as a watchtower guard.
