104-Year-Old Dorothy Hoffner Who Attempted to Break Skydiving Record Has Died

Dorothy Hoffner, who recently attempted to break a world record has died. According to The New York Times, she died in her sleep at the Chicago-area senior center where she lived. A week ago, Hoffner went skydiving. She made the leap attached to a U.S. Parachute Association tandem instructor. The goal was to become the oldest person on record to go skydiving. Dorothy Hoffner was 104 years old.
