11-Year-Old Is in Mental Health Institute After Allegedly Stomping on Baby

The mother of the young girl accused of killing a 6-month-old baby at a Wisconsin day care told Inside Edition that the case is not what it seems. The girl was just 10 years old when she allegedly dropped the baby boy and stomped on him. Now, her mother is speaking out for the first time. "There is no way it was done in an intentional way," she told Inside Edition. “It was an accident and, you know what, I believe my daughter.” The girl is currently being held at the adult Winnebago Mental Health Institute.
