12-Year-Old Attacked by Crocodile at Cancun Resort Nearly Lost His Leg

Twelve-year-old Charlie Buhl was on vacation with his mom and brother at Club Med in Cancun, when a nightmare took place. Charlie and another vacationing teen went to play on a deck while his mom sat at a restaurant nearby. Suddenly, a 13-foot crocodile jumped out of the water and grabbed Charlie’s leg. Horrified hotel staff came to his rescue, kicking the croc in the face to free Charlie. He nearly lost his leg, but doctors were able to save it after four weeks in the hospital.
