An Arkansas mother is keeping a bedside vigil over her 13-year-old daughter, who is hooked up to a respirator, fighting for her life after contracting COVID-19. Doctors are hopeful the girl will recover, and her mother says she has changed her mind about the COVID-19 vaccine after this experience: she wishes she'd received it. While such severe cases of COVID-19 in children are rare, health officials say children 12 and up should be vaccinated.
