13-Year-Old California Boy All Smiles Despite Shark Attack

A 13-year-old boy bitten by a shark over the weekend has a long road to recovery, but he's determined to get back into the water. Keane Webre-Hayes was bitten Saturday while diving for lobsters off the coast of Encinitas, a San Diego beach town, and he remains in the intensive care unit at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. “I think Keane is a miracle,” his mother, Ellie Hayes, said at a hospital press conference. “I think he’s very, very, very strong and he’s a survivor now."
