13-Year-Old Cheers With Indianapolis Colts 6 Months After Being Shot at School
A teenager who survived a school shooting six months ago danced with the Indianapolis Colts cheerleading squad Sunday. Ella Whistler is still in the eighth grade. Just six months ago she was fighting for her life after being shot by another student at Noblesville West Middle School in Indiana. She was hit seven times and suffered a broken jaw, broken ribs and broken neck vertebrae. Science teacher Jason Seamen was hailed a hero after tackling the gunman.
