The Wisconsin girl who survived being stabbed more than a dozen times by two peers in an effort to please the “Slenderman” in 2014 has “come to accept” the physical reminders of that horrifying day. Payton Leutner was 12 when she was lured by two girls she thought were her friends into the woods in Waukesha. She believed she was going to play hide-and-seek, but the girls planned to kill her to please a fictional character written about in horror stories online.
