The first Asian Giant Hornet of the year has been found in Washington State. Officials say it was unusual because the color wasn’t consistent with the hornets they recovered last year, which had yellow and orange stripes. Instead, it was brown and dry, leading them to theorize that it was from 2020 and not a new hornet. The local Department of Agriculture is once again asking citizens to set traps.
