2 Atlanta Police Officers Fired After Tasering Couple for Breaking Curfew

Demonstrations against police brutality and systemic racism took place in at least 140 different cities around the U.S. in the wake of the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police. While most protests remained peaceful, in many cities tensions escalated between cops and protesters. In Atlanta, a disturbing video of police tasering two college students and yanking them out of a car for breaking curfew resulted in the officers’ firing.
