2 Dead After Boat Capsizes in New York City’s Hudson RIver

At least two people are dead, including a child, and 10 others injured after a boat capsized in the Hudson River. Twelve people were on board when it capsized just before 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon. The captains of two passing ferries stopped to help save the passengers, who were tourists visiting from Colombia. “This is a tragic day for New Yorkers, indeed it may well have been worse,” NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewel told reporters. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has the details.
