2 People Test Positive for COVID-19 Aboard 1st Major Cruise of 2021

It was supposed to be the cruise industry’s big comeback - the Celebrity Millennium was the first major cruise to sail out of North America in over a year. But before boarding, two passengers tested positive for COVID-19. All 500 adult passengers were required to show that they were fully vaccinated and had a negative coronavirus test taken within 72 hours. Still, two people were carrying the virus. This raises the question of how future cruises will be affected.
