200-Year-Old Tradition Has Spaniards Throw Flour and Eggs at Each Other

Are these Spaniards celebrating snow? They’re actually covered in flour and it’s a tradition that goes back centuries. The small town of Ibi celebrates Els Enfarinats, which is Valencian for “those covered in flour.” It’s how they mark Holy Innocents Day every Dec. 28. Townspeople dress in military clothing and stage a mock coup throwing flour and eggs at the “opposition.” Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
