20,000 Crocheters Pool Their Talents to Bring Awareness to Climate Change

‘The Crochet Coral Reef Project’ is a traveling art exhibition that recreates the beauty of the ocean’s coral reefs using one of the world’s oldest handicrafts - crochet. All of this looped yarn strives to bring awareness to how the invaluable coral reefs are disappearing. Tens of thousands of people lent their crochet talents to create this one-of-a-kind art project. They hope it inspires people to take action against climate change.
