She was an aspiring model, ready to take on the fashion world, but COVID-19 changed all of that. Claire Bridges, 21, came down with COVID, and says her symptoms were in her legs. “They just wouldn’t work and I couldn’t get out of bed,” she told Inside Edition. When she was rushed to the hospital, her condition deteriorated and her blood flow became restricted. Doctors had no choice but to amputate her legs. Despite the hardship, Claire has kept up her spirits.
