21-Year-Old Marine Survives Being Shot in the Back in Times Square

A 21-year-old US Marine was the latest victim of gun violence in New York City’s Times Square. Newlywed Samuel Poulin was fortunate and did not suffer life-threatening injuries. New York City’s mayor is now pledging to flood the popular tourist destination in an effort to crack down on the string of random shootings. The shooting comes at the same time as the launch of a new ad campaign to attract tourists from across America to New York City.
