Olympic Skier Patrick Gasienica Dies in Motorcycle Accident

Team USA Skiing is mourning the loss of an Olympian. Patrick Gasienica competed for the United States in the 2022 Beijing Games. As a ski jumper, he took part in the normal hill, large hill individual, and Team skiing competitions. The McHenry, Illinois, native was involved in a motorcycle crash returning from work on June 12. He is survived by his parents and two sisters. Patrick Gasienica was 24 years old.
