    24-Year-Old Plunges to Her Death Crossing Rooftops During Party

    Rooftop parties have great views and a lively outdoor atmosphere, but they can sometimes end in disaster. 24-year-old Cameron Perrelli plunged seven stories to her death when she reportedly tried to get from one building to another in New York City’s East Village. Craig Hargrove, a rooftop safety expert with Hoffman Architects, says a guard rail should be at least 42 inches high and not be able to be climbed over. When attending a rooftop event, it’s best to stay away from the edges of the roof.
