A Wisconsin hunter had a very close encounter with a black bear. Tye Carlson said the bear "popped out and he wasn't going to stop. He just ran me over and started biting on me." The bear was being chased by Carlson's fellow hunters, but the animal got to him first and clawed and bit him. Hunting dogs intervened, and Carlson was able to get away briefly. But then it attacked again. Carlson said he thought to himself, "Uh oh, I'm in trouble here."
