3rd Grader Sews Pillows for Cancer Patients: 'Everyone Needs to Be Comfortable'

July 26, 2019

Abbi Zamani knows that people battling cancer need to feel loved and supported. That's why the third grader hand-sews pillows for patients at Hux Cancer Center in Terre Haute, Indiana. Abbi drops the pillows off and patients pick them up on their way into treatments. Abbi's mom is also battling cancer. "I just like all the pillows because it reminds me that everyone needs to be comfortable," Abbi told WTHI. "I like to let people know that I love them and that they can fight cancer."
