4 Dead, 1 Critically Injured in Arizona Hot Air Balloon Crash

A hot air balloon crash killed four people, critically injuring another in Eloy, Arizona. The group of five went up in the balloon with eight skydivers, police say. “What we know at this point is the skydivers were able to exit the balloon without incident and completed their planned skydiving event,” Police Chief Byron Gwaltney said. Shortly after, something caused the balloon to crash. The FAA and the NTSB are on scene investigating. The victims’ names have not yet been released.
