Brazilian Police Rescue Nigerians from Cargo Ship’s Rudder
Four Nigerians were rescued from the rudder of a cargo ship by Brazilian Federal Police near the coastal city of Vitória on July 10. The group traveled about 3,106 miles to the Brazilian coast, hiding in a very small space with no protection from falling to the sea. The men said they hid for 13 days, fearful the ship’s captain might’ve tossed them into the sea. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
