4 Shrunken Human Heads Recovered in Smuggling Ring Bust in Turkey

A bust of a smuggling ring in Turkey turned up four real shrunken human heads among other historic items. An archeology expert said they appear to be from the Jivaro tribe of South America, whose warriors developed a technique to shrink a human head to the size of an orange as a way of trapping the soul in the body. The practice included sewing the mouth closed so the soul wouldn’t have an exit. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
