4-Week-Old Baby Saved From Choking by Deputy

The life of a 4-week-old baby was saved by a California Sheriff’s detective. Officials say a deputy and a detective from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office entered a home after receiving a distress call. A tiny baby girl stopped breathing, and before an ambulance could arrive, the deputies jumped into action with infant CPR. Medical staff later determined the baby girl aspirated after vomiting. The deputy’s quick actions saved her life.
