4-Year-Old 'Superhero' Donates Bone Marrow to Save Brothers
Michael DeMasi Jr. didn't hesitate when his mom, Robin Pownall, asked him if he wanted to help his little brothers, Giovanni and Santino, who were both born with Chronic Granulomatous Disease, a rare immunodeficiency disease that is life-threatening if not treated. The brave 4-year-old donated his bone marrow to his baby brothers, who are twins, and he has now been dubbed a "superhero" for his efforts.
