500-Pound Bear Known as ‘Hank the Tank’ Sent to Animal Sanctuary

Once a menace to society, now the newest resident of Colorado. This 500-pound black bear became known as Hank the Tank around Southern Lake Tahoe, where authorities say at least 28 homes reported vandalization by an enormous ursine hulk. Police received 150 calls spotting a bear or bears that smashed windows and doors, breaking into homes looking for food. Hank was apparently one of the culprits.
