    6 Lemurs Lost In Florida Zoo Fire

    A blaze erupted at Zoo World in Panama City Beach, Florida. Zoo World is a popular attraction in the city featuring lions, camels, flamingos and other exotic animals. As one sheriff's deputy ran to his car to retrieve equipment, he encountered worried zoo workers. To save the animals, authorities had to force their way into animal enclosures. Six lemurs were lost in the fire. In a statement, the zoo says the disaster is beyond sad and that they vow to honor the lemurs by rebuilding.
