6 New Jersey Volunteer Firefighters Survive House Explosion

A New Jersey house exploded with six firefighters inside. Authorities got reports of smoke coming from the house. Body camera video from the Pompton Lakes Police Department shows police officers securing the area outside while firefighters worked inside the house. All of the firefighters were unpaid volunteers, including a lieutenant and assistant fire chief. Miraculously, all six of the firefighters survived the blast.
