6-Year-Old Dies After Breathing in Helium: Family

Funeral services were held Friday for 6-year-old Gunnar Hyatt. His family says he died after breathing in helium from balloons used to celebrate his birthday days before. Lots of people use balloons to make celebrations more festive, but if not used correctly, tragedy can follow. Two mothers lost their daughters in separate incidents. They suffocated when they placed mylar balloons over their heads at their 7th birthday party celebrations.
