6.0 Magnitude Earthquake in Australia Catches Everyone Off-Guard

A rare 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Australian state of Victoria, according to Geoscience Australia. It definitely caught everyone off-guard! A couple of Australian journalists were trying to present on morning television when an earthquake got in the way. A skier on Mt. Buller got down the slopes just in time. The earthquake even startled a protective peregrine falcon from guarding its nest. Prime Minister Scott Morrison said, "We have had no reports of serious injuries.”
