74-Year-Old Woman Pleads Guilty to Robbing Bank of $500

A 74-year-old woman pleaded guilty in court to a bank robbery from a few months ago. "I admitted what I did," defendant Ann Mayers told the judge during the hearing. Mayers says she was driven to desperation because she had been cheated out of her life savings by a scammer. Police had released video and photos of the robbery and say they were surprised to see a 74-year-old woman behind the crime.
