750-Pound Pet Alligator Seized From New York Man’s Home

The Department of Environmental Conservation in New York seized a pet gator from a homeowner. Tony Cavallaro can’t believe he had lost his best friend. Cavallero says he bought Albert the alligator at an Ohio reptile show in 1990 and cared for the beloved pet for 34 years. In that time, the gator grew to be 11-feet long and weigh 750 pounds. Albert is now with a licensed caretaker, but Cavallaro says he's hoping he'll be reunited with his best buddy.
